North-Central Florida Bill of Rights Tea Party

“Clinging To Religion and Guns Since 1776”

On July 3rd, 2009, at 5:30 P.M., we invite patriots to gather at the Gainesville Target Range for an Independence Day and Bill of Rights Tea Party to help celebrate the founding of our country, and the Bill of Rights, one of the greatest sets of rights reserved to the people since the Magna Carta.

We are doing it on July 3rd so that families can be together on Saturday, July 4th.

We will have some great events, activities and a family friendly, carnival like atmosphere to celebrate our country and our Bill of Rights.

Activities:
There will be some great activities, including a shocking demonstration of what is and isn't an assault weapon, by the government's criteria, and there will be free target shooting with 22's as well as some great information on gun and sportsman safety. Many of the activities and booths we will have will be fun, and educational in nature. You might have an opportunity to test your knowledge of our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and win some prizes in the process. We plan to have some great activities for kids, and organizations will have booths set up, including Alachua County Fair Tax and others.

$5 BBQ Dinners by David's BBQ:
David's BBQ will be in attendance with some great BBQ.  Special thanks to David's Real Pit BBQ for providing great BBQ at a great price.  $5 BBQ dinners include Pork, Chicken, Beans, Slaw, Tea and Water.

We intended to try to sponsor that, but the event has grown to the point that we can't afford to, so David's is graciously providing full BBQ dinners for just $5.

Sponsors:
Ron Shema and the Gainesville Target Range, Picket Weaponry of Newberry and The Mission Church in High Springs.

Additional Sponsorships:
We could use some additional sponsorships to help us cover the cost of this event.  If you would like to help us with a contribution of $5, $10, $20, $100 or more, we would welcome  your help.  Please contact us at contact@alachuacountyteaparty.com.

RSVP:
RSVP'ing is not required, but if you think you are coming, please send us an email to rsvp@alachuacountyteaparty.com so that we can try to prepare for the right number of people.
